Catarina joined A4P in May 2021 as a Bioanalytical Project Manager to support the drug development programs of several key A4P clients. Prior to joining A4P, Catarina held a position as an Operations Director at a Contract Research Organisation in Barcelona. During her professional career, she has worked for several CROs in a variety of scientific and managerial roles. As a result, she has gained excellent technical and regulatory (GLP/GCP) knowledge, focusing on the development, validation and sample analysis of small molecules.

Catarina holds a PhD in Synthetic Organic Chemistry and a BSc in Chemistry and Environmental Chemistry.

Catarina’s current role at A4P involves the management and mentoring of a team of bioanalytical experts, overseeing the outsourced bioanalytical activities for a range of customers, from large pharma to small biotechs.
